Sean Cochran – CSCS, PES, USWLF, TPI

Sean Cochran is the Founder and Director of SCSP. Sean began his career in professional athletics in 1999 as a strength and conditioning coach of the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball. Cochran transitioned from the Brewers to his adopted hometown of San Diego in 2000 where he accepted the position of Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the San Diego Padres. During his tenure in Major League Baseball, Sean had the opportunity to train World Series MVP Cole Hamels, Cy Young Award Winners Barry Zito and Jake Peavy, and second in all time saves leader Trevor Hoffman.
Sean transitioned from professional baseball to professional golf in late 2003. Since this transition, Cochran has had the opportunity to work with numerous PGA Tour and LPGA players most notably 3-time Masters, PGA, and British Open Champion Phil Mickelson. In addition to Mickelson, Sean has worked with U.S. Open Champion Corey Pavin, PGA Tour and Senior U.S. Open Champion Peter Jacobsen, Ryder Cup Member and PGA Tour Winner Brad Faxon, PGA Championship Winner Shaun Michel, and LPGA Winners Hee Won Han, IK Kim, and Jennifer Johnson.
In addition to his work in professional athletics, Sean has authored and produced over 10 publications and numerous training videos related to sports performance training, has been a contributing author to PGATOUR.com, has served as a corporate ambassador to fortune 500 companies, product endorsee, and presenter at numerous educational seminars. Since the grand opening of SCSP Training Facility, Sean has had the opportunity to train athletes in multiple sports including football, baseball, and golf with a focus on mentoring high school athletes.
